After re-entering a guilty plea in October of 2009 to charges of racketeering conspiracy, related to his position as CEO of BetonSports, British citizen David Carruthers has finally received his sentence of 33 months in federal prison.
This comes after a very long wait, as Carruthers was originally arrested in July of 2006.
BetonSports ceased operations shortly thereafter and has yet to repay over $16 Million to its customers.
